Well, I enjoy dark characters, I have a couple of my own! The semiphasing field I use to give massages is shearproof, so it can't be cut, and flameproof. But it isn't combat armor, and has a giant honking weakness that someone who actually wanted to kill Arch may quickly discover. So he doesn't hang around to let them find out!
