However, 2021 was fine enough, too uwu Like an oasis for relaxation between the terrible covid 2020, and the even more terrible 2022, which brought war to my country ;-;

And the first good thing that happened to me in 2021 was a long-awaited trip to Lviv, which happened on February 14th. So that's the date when these photos were originally taken.
My closest friends know that Lviv is my favorite Ukrainian city, and I'm happy to visit it whenever possible xD But due to covid quarantine, I wasn't able to do that for a long time, which made me quite upset and demotivated. That's why that specific trip was like a breath of fresh air and set the good tone for the rest of that year :')

About those drawings, I prepared them a little earlier before the trip, and went on the road just hoping for lucky occasions :'D Fortunately, there were enough opportunities to photograph everything more or less as I wanted ^^

So, what do we have there...

Tiger singing in a cafe - yeah, this is actually her home! Tiger's origin implies that her character was created in a cafe in the center of Lviv, right there, when the author was drawing some doodles of random felines, but accidentally spilled coffee - this is how the character became black and white, and that's why she loves to get into dishes, especially cups so much ;'D

Nearby we have an opera theater. The main theater of the city and Western Ukraine as a whole, it's even depicted on our money (20 hryvnias specifically).
Yakko, being a theatre kid, was just gettin' ready to check out the place and take part in whatever there is, but Dot reasoned they don't have time for that. Of course, that was only a one day trip ^^"

Wakko thought, however, they would have enough time to at least ride in the cart x)

A bit later they visited a candy store and Dot saw a lot of cute yummies there, but now it's Yakko and Tiger's turn to be totally against it, so THIS or THAT will never happens again D: Wakko doesn't care at all tho, and started degustating everything already xd

Last but not least, the return trip in the bus owo""" We all know about the struggles during long trips, the Warners already had them (which was the main inspiration for this piece!), most of us had them. But, unlike in the 90s, we can entertain ourselves with smartphones or consoles nowadays! So the Warners and Tiger got to play Pokémon (Ultra Sun) - and that was a very special playthrough where they associate themselves with those creatures ;D

Dang, it hurts to think how delightful and peaceful it was in my beloved city not so long ago, and in what horror we live now. Please support Ukraine, the war is not over yet ;-; (if you have any questions about what you can do, feel free to write me a note!)
I'm so worried every day that everything in Lviv and other towns and villages, especially historical ones, remains as it was before war...
