Tani Rinkan wanted oh so badly to come visit Nils and the others at the Corporate Offices. Even brought out the classic blouse and pencil skirt outfit! Problem: No one told her that when she got in she'd have to show her ID. No one told her that... the receptionist...? C'mon you can see it right? He's - his face it's - look I don't want to half to explain it. But he's doing his best. Dash, manning the front desk, is dutifully...(?) confirming she is who she says she is so she can get up the other floors and maybe catch her brother in the house counsel office. All the while, someone's snuck in to see what all the commotion is.
....
And she's doing such a good... job...? Hiding behind that brush which no one can see her. At all. 100% promise you that.
"Man.... I swear everyone in this office is weird. Just who the hell does Nils work with?? Then again... who am I kidding, he fits right in - CAN I PLEASE GO NOW?!"
"Juuuuust a second ma'am. I am almost done. Just need to verify your ID. Now - who are you here to see again?"
"FOR THE LAST TIME I- wait is my ID upside down?!"
Yup. Allllll is going well!
This was a fun piece that the commissioner was kind enough to let me be a part of. Definitely appreciate this to the moon and back!
