The unfinished sweat tutorial
Holy crap, I was about to finish a very detailed tutorial about making sweat easily when all my work got deleted (it was my fault, no power shutdown). I decided at least to make a compendium of some of the stuff I could save from the disaster and here it is this crazy messy tutorial.
Programs needed: Photoshop (but any other program that support layers would work).

Yup, you're right. I was about to add that part at the last stages of the tutorial under advanced sweat characteristics, but I got it deleted in my little computer disaster, what you see is the part about making it in the fewest steps possible, so I think it would still be useful for those that are just starting with this kind of details or for doing not so realistic, more cartoony pictuteres.
Yup, you're right. For the most cases only a layer is necessary. I made that mask because on later stages I tend to make a bit of "offset" on the duplicated layer to get some weird simulated refractions. As that part was deleted accidentally I left the mask part on the tutorial, It can be useful anyhow but I agree, not indispensable if you only want to do simple sweat.
