Ion is the ageless composer and conductor for a royal house of giants. When they pick up their baton and beckon the orchestra to play one of their thousands of symphonies and concertos, they gesture so intensely that it's hard to tell if they're merely leading the music or summoning a gate to another dimension. It doesn't help matters when their music sounds, well, a bit like this (CW(?): very avant-garde classical music).

It's me! Well, just about. This is my role in a high fantasy world that's been in the back of my head for a long time, where a society of immortal beings coexists with a massive civilization of regular folks, any of whom could join the immortal ranks. I've got an introduction of sorts to it here (rated mature though) if you don't mind something really idiosyncratic.
