Today is a very big day in one of the best ways imaginable. Today is June 5th, otherwise known by hopefully more people as Dynamax Day. And because this is my first time taking part, I decided to keep it simple and draw my favorite starter for each type.
My favorite grass type starter is Serperior, and it honestly saddens me just how underrated he is. The stats don’t matter to me, and if they did, my knowledge of his move set would help remedy any issues y’all may have. Need better attack power? Growth is the answer. Are you a leaf blade spammer like me? Coil. There are EASY remedies to his relatively low attack power, and he demolishes the other two Unova starters on speed and defense. Give him a little love, will ya?
My favorite fire starter - no, not the song by Tanger, I’m talking fire type starter Pokémon. I shouldn’t have to clarify this - is Cinderace. Not only are they powerful, but they just look awesome too. And Pyro Ball has to be one of the best looking attacks I’ve seen. But seriously though, if it weren’t for the reduced accuracy, they would simply be too strong with Pyro Ball alone. And don’t even get me started on my Cinderace in Sword, with Focus Blast and Shadow Ball. You don’t want to mess with him. I also love the fact that they, along with the other two Galar starters, represent a form of entertainment.
And finally, my favorite water starter is Primarina. Just like Serperior, it saddens me just how underrated she is. Incineroar and Decidueye get all of the praise, until you reach Totem Kommo-o. Are you struggling with him? Well here’s how you don’t struggle in three easy steps. Step one, choose Popplio at the start of your journey. Step two, progress through the game up until Totem Kommo-o. Step three, moonblast. But her type combination isn’t just why I like her. She is absolutely beautiful, and would likely be a friend to all in real life.
The inspiration for this came from
Hakunaro, and I felt the need to mention them such as to not steer anyone the wrong way and make them think I came up with Dynamax Day. They deserve all of the credit for sure, and I encourage you to check them out if you haven’t already.
Team Plasma better watch out. Although I’m not sure what names I should give these three.
