Knob Creek Range is located in Westpoint, Kentucky. They have a bi-annual machine gun shoot and gun show -the largest in the Midwest I might add- held in the spring and fall. I go at least once every year. There's a lot to look and see, and plenty of opportunities to spend serious cash. That's if you want to spend alot, hehe. X3 Admission is only like $10. Bring your own drinks though (and trust me, you'll need them). Sure beats paying $2 for a bottle of soda or water.
This is me shooting a M249 SAW. $65 for one 50-round belt. Expensive but it was awesome! And this is only one of the three guns I rented to shoot. The others were a 1928A1 Thomson gun, and a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), which sadly, I don't have a picture of, but I do have a few second long video clip (found here!) :D. The grand total for my venture was $140. Expensive, sure, but for a pretty much once in a lifetime opportunity to fire some fully automatic machine guns? Hell yeah, it was worth it! :D More coming up!

Yeah, and really I'm kinda disappointed that they want to replace it with something similar to that of an M4 as a support weapon. I mean really, what's the point? Sure it would be more mobile, but you lose the continuous stream of fire. It's support for a reason, right? o.O
For sure. I haven't been to Knob Creek, let alone a gun show in years though, because I'm trying not to spend so much. Especially now that I'm a homeowner. But it's on my bucket list to go back someday and shoot some of the other guns there - like the grease gun or the MP40.
Yeah, I saw some of that in your gallery. Thanks for your service, regardless of whether you feel good or bad about it. ^^ And yeah there's lots of cool stuff there besides guns. I'll probably go to one whenever I get into airsoft just so I can grab some surplus apparel/accessories on the cheap. I used to go with dad all the time, but times change, as with becoming an adult.
