"They are the soldiers of the invisible front, fighting an unseen war to protect the Mankind from the enemies within. They are the agents of the Inquisition, pure of heart and strong of will; the sword of truth punishing those who poison and corrupt the faithful citizens of the Imperium. They are on a mission from God-Emperor - and they will not suffer a heretic to live!"
Recently I found myself being rather interested in the Warhammer 40000: Dark Heresy. So I decided to draw a couple Inquisitor characters. I actually already drew Yves once before (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3304215/ ), but that time he was a Commissar rather than an Inquisitor. After some thought, I decided that the latter position is actually more fitting for him.
Yves Renard is tough, cold, collected and experienced agent who would go to great lengths to accomplish his mission. He has done quite a few nasty things in the years of his service, but he knows full well that if he had not carried out his duty, far more terrible things would have happened.
Abel Venris, on the other hand, is promising but inexperienced, a bit naive and idealistic member of the Inquisition. He has yet to get his hands really dirty, and seems to have that sense of adventure in him still fresh. He possesses certain skills that make him exceptionally useful to the Inquisition, though, and he was assigned to Yves so he could get experience while getting the job done. At the same time there will always be an experienced and reliable agent keeping an eye on him.
Together, they fightcrime heresy.
I might tweak them a bit to fit them into my own setting, because, in all the honesty, they don't fit into the WH40K setting all that well (and they don't look nearly GRIMDARK enough). Either way, you'll be seeing more of them in the future. ^^

P.S. WH40K characters without Nice Hats? Preposterous, I know. I hang my head in shame. :B
