Since I last posted anything, a lot of things in life have changed in new and exciting ways that I might speak more of later. But not least having found a bit of an art groove once more and a new direction that is, if nothing else, at least fun to work with.

To that end I've also symbolically made the decision to drop using my shark-sona, and reclaim my oldest OC as my avatar character, giving them a new coat of paint and substantial redesign in the process. A part of me is even seriously considering a change of screen-name in line with those changes, though at this stage so many people know who "Ryuujin" is that it might be difficult to pivot, even if it was an idly chosen name by 15 year old me in a different life that means little anymore.


The revisited OC is a kitsune leaning heavily on Shinto mythology, but with a bit of a twist, namely being a fennec rather than a classic red fox so they're small and cute rather than tall and elegant; and they don't dress like it's still the late Edo period, instead borrowing tech-wear and future-modern equipment to pull off a tech-mage look and augment their innate kitsune magical abilities...
