This is just a short explanation of why the background I drew https://www.furaffinity.net/view/47525917/ is a pine forest. It is because were are up north. Not too much up north for a tundra environment but the winters here do get chilly even with some warm currents flowing around the many islands one can find here. I put an emphasis on the many islands because one can only see the bigger islands on this world map.
Morthil where Antannea went is mostly a low land with many many lakes. Its current look was formed by glaciers, which melted away in the "great shift" leaving this vast area to become a boreal forest. Just the thing for certain corrupt deer, to settle. As the map show, there are 2 "free" cities (more like townships) in Morthil, but as far as population goes there is not much else here. Politically the 2 cities are like their own city-states, and they are blissfully unaware of what has moved into the forest around them. Antenna also works hard to keep things that way as her adviser's attention was greatly attracted by the destruction of Lundj, and they are on the lookout for her ever since.

This map I use is basically meant to be a world map, so there are not enough pixels left for details and it is already huge. I planned to do close-ups every time like https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36341234/ Sadly there's ain't just time for those endeavors.
