Gillie puts on a mane in an attempt to become more brave. Inspired by Florence + the Machine's rabbit heart, I guess.
This is my first anthro for a number of years (apart from my chunder picture but I'm not going to count that :p), and my first anthro using my tablet.
I'm still getting used to gimp, there's some things in it I can't get the hang of, but I'm finally using layers in my work. I didn't use any references for this, so it is quite a bit off ..

I've been practicing with gimp for a little while and I am getting the feel of it a lot better with each and every use. I used to draw anthro a lot, but when I started college I kind of stopped, but a friend encouraged me to draw what I like so I started drawing them again :)
Thanks for the compliments and if you want any advice, all I can offer is keep drawing. Anything you think of drawing, just draw it, you can only get better with practice.

Cool, yeah I've got a few programs, like gimp, SAI, and photoshop I've used a bit, but I'm no good with them ha ha. And I know what you mean, getting into University I just don't have time really to draw or anything. Your quite welcome, your very talented, and best of luck in college!
