Sometimes in the dark, all by herself, Zula still laments that unfortunate day. They had tried to stop him, they really had! Or at least that's what everyone had told them to try to release them from the guilt. But looking at Maua's desolated eyes, she still believes there could have been plenty of things she could have done. And she did none.
Oh, poor cub. If only he had taken a no for an answer... What for? To prove what? He was already brave enough, everyone knew that! And still, that was the last time they saw him.
