An 8 bit remix of my earlier take on the "Genius of Dr Robotnik" medley. Replaces the rock found here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3859972/ with some 8 bit NES samples (yes I should have used Master System sounds instead but meh) and a greatly reduced number of instruments.
*Generic Notes*
I'm bulk uploading a few pieces, finished or otherwise, from the last few weeks and quite a few of these are attempts at 8 bit remixes.
Strictly speaking I don't think many or even any are truly something an NES could produce but I have been using NES samples, limiting number of instruments/channels and whatnot.
As such the end result isn't quite correct but it's closer to being "8 bit" than most similar remixes on youtube (e.g. people who just run a midi through GXSCC or whatever it was called)
Oh and as usual, made in LMMS and tweaked in audacity.

Well, that would defeat the point of me making an 8 bit remix, wouldn't it? Which is why I said that ideally I should use Master System samples (as that was 8 bit and had a few Sonic games made for it) but I didn't have any at hand and it was being done along with most of the other 8 bit remixes so I just re-used my NES samples.
Besides, I don't have any Megadrive samples either :P
