Surfers Curse

October 30, 2000, David Peltie and his friend went on there annual surfing trip to Wrightsville Beach.They came all the way from Kentucky. They were so excited about this years trip that they surfed all day long having a good time. David and his friends were playing around pretending they were getting attacked by sharks. They go out of the water to go to the blue water grill. When they got there David stepped on a rock and stubbed his toe. Then they went inside to eat.
An hour later David and his freinds went back to there care adn drove back to the beach. They were so excited to be surfing again they started running to the water and David stubbed bhis toe again, this time making it bleed. David wasnt worried about it so he rain straight to the water. It was about 9 o'clock when David heard his friend yell, "Shark!"
David looked at his friend who was swimming to shore and started to laugh. "I thought you were serious for a second". David looked back at his friend again and he was already at the shore and his friend yelloed, "I wasnt kidding man, get out of there!". David panicked and hit his toe on the rock and felt it sting. He paddled back to shore when he felt a sharp pain in his foot, he let out a loud cry and started to kick. He felt the shark let go and he started to swim back when he felt a pain on his foot again, he then felt the pain go away and he saw that his leg was missing.
He started to paddle back. His friends watched him go under they started to painck and called the ambulance. Then they saw him float back up. David was dead. The ambulance finally came and took him to the hospital. He was badly bitten and found out he died from heart damace and loss of blood. His friends buried him the next night on Halloween at the time he died, 12 o'clock.
It was Halloween day 2001 and the Blades family went to the beach for a picnic. It was noon and they started to eat there lunch of sandwhiches and sald. Samantha was full and ready to sure. She looked at her mom, "can I surf now?. Her mom replied and said, "I guess but be careful". Samantha was excited so she ran and dived right in, She started to paddle and saw a big wave and surfed it very well.
She was so happy that she wasn't paying attention to the shark that was coming up. Her mom saw the shark and started to yell, "Samantha! Samantha! Get out of there now! Shark!"
Samantha turned around and saw a shark and then looked behind the shore and saw a man on a surfboard. Samantha started to panic and started paddling to shore. Then seh felt a hand on her ankle, she then felt herself being pulled under. She started to scream but no one could hear her adn bubbles started to go up to the surface. She finally went up to the surface and started to paddle back. She heard her mom screaming to the ambulance that she founder her daughters dead body and to come immediatly. She was very confused when she saw herself dead at her mother's side. She started to cry and yell to her mom, "im here mom Im here!", but her mom didnt even look her way. Then she looked next to her and saw a man he laughed then disapeared. Then so did she.
Now it is said that when you go to Wrightsville back on Halloween night you can hear Samantha yelling for her mom. If you go in the water at 12 0'clock at night and noon, you will be killed by the ghost of David.
