This one is a little sadder than most art I post but there is a story behind it.
As I explained in Fennel's ref she is pretty much an Idol of the racing scene. Now she used to like the attention but not as much as she liked being on the track with the wind in her hair. However, in recent years her manager has been increasingly pushy and greedy, to the point that all he cared about was the winning and money. Any care for the sport itself was gone. This mindset bleed over onto Fennel, and being the star all the pressure and negativity came to affect her. Sure she was winning races but the joy for the sport had gone. Her spark extinguished, replaced with only the need to win so that she could continue to survive.

Here she sits in her apartment, distant from her phone, trophies lay haphazardly on the windowsill. The care she once had for them long gone. However, perhaps that shooting star is a sign of good things yet to come. A glimmer of hope that seems out of reach for now but maybe soon things will change for the better.
