This is a redrawing of a picture I did ages ago, this one is a lot simpler but it works so much better than the original with the idea I had.
I wanted to show the idea of the sand being living creatures souls (each grain a different soul) with a god ruling over them. She controls the sand which is constantly falling and rising between the gods hands with every birth and death.
The nether dragon's in charge of the moon, its just a rock because there is no life on the moon.
Not very good at explaining my idea's.. hopefully that makes sense.

wow...quite impressive. I love the colors and textures (for instance: the sand looks real) Excellent work on the piece, which complements the concept very well. Also, I like how you made the sand in (her?) hands in the shape of the earth (drives home the original idea very well.)
You know, i don't think gods are allowed to be that soft and huggable... It's a law or something. Also, i think there's something about them being drawn so well...
Hehe, still, i bet i could get her to want a hug ^______^ God or no, no one can resist hugs. Through a combination of shamelessly cute rolling around and head tilting, her will shall be broken... And then there will be hugs. And then cake.

It's all just practice, I think my newer stuff is far better than this one, but I still like it for how good I was at the time. I still have all my not so great linearts as well :)
I created her but my 'fursona' character is a grey and red fox, really need to recreate him as a Venkat, and in better colours.
