Thank you to an amazing artist for bringing this character to life.
volvon has been such a lovely person to chat with and I am happy they took on this challenge of bringing a character of mine to life, once again from my stories.
The Great Skizir is the king of the Virathi, a race of celestial bird people who are proud warriors, scholars, philosophers, and masters of various arts. The males of their species are highly flamboyant and love to prove their strength by not wearing armor to battle so they can show off their colors. They also have an ego of preening their feathers to an extreme case of trying to look fashionable and tend to use special exotic oils to moisten their feathers. Even the Great Skizir, the god of patriotism is an ego maniac, but he is the best friend of the Allfather, and he also started his godly career as an upstart star biker gang leader.
The Virathi are highly inspired by old American culture, because of this they tend to have greaser vibes and an extreme case of freedom eccentric jokes and battle cries. It's not uncommon to hear the common Knock Knock joke that responds with "Democracy!!!"
(They may not be the smartest, but they will die on the hill that they are sexier than those silly aelves).
