So, I bought a set of needle files the other day on ebay and I noticed none of the had handles, which is kind of a given when you buy a set like this.
These are very fine files, the teeth are very fine, almost smooth. These are meant for making very good smooth surfaces on copper, brass, silver, gold and similar. Not to be used on steels.
The handles are made from sassafras wood I got out in the back. I made them using just a knife.
The ferrules are spent 9 mm casings. Very neat reuse of them.
These are nice files and I wanted to give them nice handles.
I left one rough for the photo.
