I made a trip to Vulcan for Vul-con. to finally get photos of my Dax cosplay.
I made the jumpsuit was made from a poly-wool blend fabric, and a knit spandex undershirt. My pips are chopped dowels painted gold and glued to a regular pin backing. Comm badge was an online purchase and attaches to the jump suit via a small piece of velcro.

I remember you saying how tough it was to figure out.
Really, apparently the high end replica license was held and mismanaged by ANOVOS who promised high end stuff but rarely delivered, and I know I lost a few hundred when they just dissolved and vanished, but I tried another source that was a chinese factory but they apparently have different sizes but weren't apparently altering the collar size (which I need a bigger collar than the preset sizes, while otherwise it would've fit fine), but apparently some folks are lucky that way having a thinner neck than me. ;P

Its kind of unfortunate. Unlike star Wars which slaps out merch like it's going out of style, Star trek is a very casual and quiet market. They could make a killing if they could find the right manufacturer. But, again those darn jump suits are SO tricky to make universal sizing for - they almost entirely need to be made custom to the wearer.
