Bodaros was a Cyborg Firefly Kaiju who served as Monster of the week in Ep.33 – "Fear the Mechanical Fly Army" – in Dinosaur Great War Izenborg, serving as the 49th Monster in show's order of appearance.

_Bio and Abilities_
Bodaros was among the few non-Dinosaur based Kaiju in the army, cyborg(s) created by Grottes, it was largely comprise of Fireflies enhance with mechanical parts, carrying volatile ingredients that, when release, would set cities on fire. The creature came in both as a Swarm of Smaller Fireflies that combine to create the larger single entity. Its only other ability beside these was flight and close combat, often using its wing shells as shields; however Bodaros was nocturnal and was weak to Sunlight, a factor Aizenborg uses to dispose of it in the end. (you would think converting these things into Cyborgs would cancel such a natural weakness, but apparently, Ya boi Grottes forgot – mea culpa, bros!)

Bodaros' roar was an modified version of Antlar's from Ultraman, as well the suit would be re-use and modified to create two more Kaiju for Izenborg; Black Gamma and Shizalas.

_Story_
Following a string of massive fires in the city the night before, D-Squad discover the incident was provoked by a swarm of mechanically enhance Fireflies. As they investigate the sites of the incidents, a boy is caught by Ai stealing fireflies to show for his hospitalize sister. After been force out by the older brother, the team take the few Fireflies they caught for study, confirming they are all mechanical and thus work of Grottes.

That Night, Ai keeps an eye on the kids at the hospital when their Firefly activates and begin to burn their cage, then the room. She rescues them by killing the insect with a lamp, discovering its weakness – light. However, a larger swam of the creatures come out from the woods and Izenborg is deploy to stop them and Ai is recall to join the battle. The creatures attack a power plant setting fire to the facility and the workers; the IzenUnits try to control the fire, but the plant explodes due to the out of control fire – Ai shows up and informs the others of the creatures' weakness and Cross.

The Swarm attacks the Super Izenborg but are repel with an electric discharge, still, this does not kill them and the swarm combines, creating the Cyborg Firefly Kaiju Bodaros. After giving a pass with the Folding Cutters, the Siblings combine into Aizenborg to take on the Giant Insect; the humanoid is able to stand its ground, Bodaros proves the stronger and overpower its opponent, but before it could strike him down, the Sun rises and the Beast becomes weaken by it. Taking the chances, Aizenborg uses its Double Katana strike to slice the beast, disposing of it quickly.

After the Battle, Ai gives the kids at the hospital a new set of Fireflies – this time, ones that don't burn your neighborhood.
