One does not simply squeak only once as a pooltoy. There's a daily quota that's somewhere in the 30s I believe? Assuming someone is around to play with you. When you're animate I hear the quota jumps up to the hundreds. Not that I would know.

There's a certain release that comes from squeaky critters, yeah. Something about the shiny smoothness and squishy bounce, both of which are further emphasized by drawings that push or pull on the material and stretch it out. I wonder if there's any scientific studies on it. Maybe not for pooltoys in particular but...
