In the middle of the night at the Canistropolis Museum of Natural History as their was a museum display of the Golden Bast in the ancient egypt exhibit as a security guard was on the watch and guard of the display as he uses his flashlight to wander around the hallways of the museum till a mysterious black figure ran past him as he turned around and shines his flashlight on and no one was their and till their was a break in the ancient egypt exhibit as he runs in as the case of the display of the golden bast was stolen as that shocks the security guard.


As the newspaper reveals on that the golden bast has been stolen from the museum at the Kennel Apartments building as Carlos Barkia reads the newspaper about the theft at the museum while Mel Dallison eats Chewy Bones Cereal "Mel, look the museum of natural history has been robbed last night, this must be the work of Steelclaw" said Carlos "Looks like we got the case then, what's this case on?" said Mel as she eats her cereal "The Golden Bast" Said Carlos "Really, a cast statue?" said Mel "Not just any cat statue, an ancient cursed cat statue, according to papyrus of it, the statue contains the curse of misfortune when ever a cat holds the power of the statue" said Carlos "And we better solve the case of the Golden Bast before any cat could get their hands on it" said Mel as they arrived at the crime scene of the museum at the golden bast display as mel using her magnifying glass to search for any clues of what the thief has left behind as she founds a clue "Ah ha" she said as she picks up a piece of fur "A clue" she said as she begins to sniff out the scent of the fur "Yep, definitely a cat alright" she said "And their is a trail of the cat that left behind too" he said as they both noticed the pawprints on the ground of the scene of the crime "The cat managed to escape with the stolen artifact and left down the prints of the crime, we better follow them to where they lead to?" she said that night as Mel and Carlos follow the pawprints of the cat who stolen the statue "Did you pick the scent out of the cat that stolen the statue?" said Carlos "The scent from the cat who stole the statue had Steelclaw's scent on it, and i think he's planning something and we're not gonna like it" said mel.


Meanwhile on top of the building as Steelclaw holds the Golden bast statue with him as he let's out and evil cackle "At last, the Golden Bast is soon to release the curse on the citizens of Canistropolis to exact my vengeance on the one who took my paw!" Steelclaw said when revealing his steel metal prosthetic clawed paw "HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!" as he let's out a loud cackle which resides him which are Inspector James Hound all tied up as a hostage by him "Their's no one to save you now Inspector" Said Steelclaw to James Hound as the door was slammed open on top of the building as Mel and Carlos arrived at the scene "Hold it right their Steelclaw!!" she shouts out as Steelclaw turns to see her "Mel Dallison so glad to finally join to see the curse spread on the citizens" Steelclaw said to mel "You want ever get away with this!" Mel said to Steelclaw as Steelclaw begins to raise the statue up in the air "By the power of bast i command you to release the curse of the citizens!!" Said steelclaw as the eyes of the statue begin to glow purple and begins to spread a beam on the citizens which caused to be effected by the beam of the statue's curse "We have to do something" said mel "I got this" said Carlos as he gets out a Tennis Ball "A Ball that's it?" said Mel "Trust me" said Carlos as he hands mel the ball "Hope this works" she said as she readies to aim as she throws it to the statue and begins to knock it off of Steelclaw's paws "What?!" he said as the ball knocks off the golden bast as it begins to fall as it lands on the tree "NO!!" he yells when the statue landed on the tree branch "It's over Steelclaw, give yourself up, this time for the murder of my father!" she said as she shouts out angerly towards Steelclaw "Never, you will never take me alive!" he said as he begins to use a smoke bomb as he hits it to the ground as it begins to blow up as smoke begins to go every where as he escapes as mel and carlos cough as the smoke disappears see as he manages to get away into the darkness "We will met again Mel Dallison..." Steelclaw said as his eyes mysteriously glowed yellow as he manages to escape, as Carlos unties James Hound from the ropes as Mel comes up after carlos manages untie james.


*As the Police arrived at the scene as they managed to recover the Golden bast from the tree that landed on the branch "Well i got to handle to you two, you managed to save my life back their" Said james "No problem, we been doing our jobs to keep the city safe" said Mel "And the Police for too" said Carlos as the chief of police department arrived "Looks like we recovered the statue, and it looks like it's gonna be save with security is around so it can't be stolen again" said the chief of police "No dog could ever loose again" said Mel as the eyes of the statue stop glowing as the curse was lifted as it get's put back into the police truck till on the top of the skyscraper building as Steelclaw looks with those menacing eyes as he swears to get more vengeance on mel "This time you won't be so lucky this time, we will meet again!" he said as he shouts out and disappears in a form of dark smoke.
