First and foremost sorry for the crappy pics ><
I wanted to show off my new tail for my half suit. Since I made my half suit I've wanted a tail that naturally curls. I've seen some around with wire in them or were for shorter tails(husky tails and the like) but that's not what I wanted. I finally found a tutorial on line that showed a long tail that naturally curled at the floor. I decided to remake my tail from scratch ^^
So this tail is a good 75 inches long(I measured it with a tape measure this morning) and naturally wants to curl around things. When I drop it to the floor, it curls around my feet, and I can actually wrap it around my waist and it will stay there for a minute or so before falling XD
It's all done just sewing, no special tricks. It was sewn by hand with 24 separate pieces(to make sure the fur goes the right direction all the way down) and has two elastic straps that attach it to a belt. It's stuffed with Poly Fill and that's it!
I hope to get some more decent pictures of it this weekend. Will scrap this once I get the new pics.

I actually can't find the tutorial any more. But basically I made a large S shape out of paper and then cut it into 12 different smaller pieces following the curve. Each of the 12 pieces is to make the fur continue the same direction when you sew it together.
The tail ended up being 24 pieces total when it was all sewn together.
