The Colo(u)r(s) That Adorn Us


First and foremost, I made this for a friend of mine named Ziekers :3

Creating a song based of the title, not always the easiest of tasks for one to do but I believe that I should at least describe the story that I have created for my song to go with this. This piece was created with the original though of diversity within a system. When you really think about how we present ourselves in society and how we really coexist with others, we don’t really think about how different we could be and yet we can still relate and mix to create and share different meanings for the same subject. Kind of like how all colors can be mixed and matched to create a single unique hue, tone, or intensity. The same thing can be down within the societies that we live in. We search, explore and learn from one another, developing our own mindsets, views and explanations for the world around us. And metaphorically, it can be the colors we adorn. I would also like to mention that in the song I use various sounds in different places to highlight that even though its different in sound, volume, and panning position, when playing the same riff, it amplifies the intensity of that transition. This could also be looked at how people in a community really work together to complete a simple task. With several different minds working for the same goal, the ability of group is raised.

So I do believe that The title used was a wonderful idea because there are so many things that could be related from the sounds used to the title of the song. The title being the silhouette of the figure with the sounds fleshing out the picture for the world to interpret.
