Shadow paced around with Maria in his arms trying to think of what to do. She was warm again but still wouldn't wake and he couldn't think of anything else to help her atm. Clenching his teeth he thought about one option could try. He was hesitant, but after looked down at Maria in his arms it was clear he had to try.
He carefully wrapped her in her cloak and tried his best to cover her with his arms and thick coat as left the cabin. The wind and snow stinging at him as made his way through the snow to his destination.
He lost all sense time as only focused on his journey, finally spotting his goal in the distance.
Smoke rose out of various chimneys and a soft sound of people could be heard. The closest village was close now and people could be seen walking through the streets. The snow had died down to a soft flutter by this point and he could see all around easily. He found a good clearing on the edge of the village and brought Maria to it.
