The life of hired hands for a gang sounds and can be incredibly exciting. But as with any hired hand, there would be plenty of downtime until the next call would be received. Until that time, those with the job can’t do much else besides wait. What they do with that time is completely up to them.

Though the full team is still on good terms with each other, many of them took their own paths while still in the gang. Kaze and Ethan taking to stay as a unit given their skills. Ethan’s uncanny ability to distract with his words, and Kaze’s unmatched stealth skills made the pair quite a name as far as infiltration jobs.

Since they joined the gang, the two gradually grew closer as friends. A feat Kaze certainly didn’t make easy with his uncomfortable feelings towards getting close or even being touched by others. Though it was incredibly slow, the wall he’d built up around himself came down. Ethan’s eagerness to prove himself through food was also something that Kaze could take amusement in. That cat’s own naturally gluttonous appetite always being the thing that won in the end.

On one of those off nights, Ethan found himself needing something to parch his thirst after having been practicing his singing for a while. With the pair getting closer, Kaze’s anxieties didn’t force him to stay up through the night. Which was a blessing for Ethan since he found out that his companion is quite a sound sleeper when he’s not on high alert. He’s able to sing to his heart’s content in his room, and Kaze just continues to snooze away. With that, Ethan comes out and checks out what they have remaining in their fridge. To his slight disappointment, the majority of the beverages in there was milk that his feline companion quite adamantly said they needed. Even with Ethan’s trained words and Kaze’s usual laid back demeanor, the young mouse knows that Kaze wouldn’t budge on a subject like that.

Shrugging, Ethan grabs one of the smaller bottle of milk and just chugs all of it! His thirst surprising even himself when he was able to down it all in a few gulps. He even chuckled some to himself from it, arrogantly thinking he might be able to beat his roommate in a drinking contest just from that. As he turned and started walking back to his room with that gleeful thought his mind, he finds himself walking right into a soft, warm body! He almost screamed before he realized that it was in fact Kaze himself standing there. Soundlessly moving about being second nature to the cat, and quite an irritant to the mouse because of situations like this. “Damnit Kaze! I hate when you scare me like that, you know that! Why can’t yo-“

Stopping his chastising when he looked up at the cat’s face, he noticed that his eyes were closed and that breathing was a bit heavier than it usually was. Waving his hand in Kaze’s face and tapping his cheek also didn’t get any response. “Kaze…I didn’t peg you to be a sleepwalker. Heh, that’s kinda funny actually. But let’s get you back to bed big guy, come on.”

Taking his roommate by the hand, he started pulling on him with all his strength! He was very surprised by how much effort it took to get the sleeping cat to move, but he eventually did start walking behind the mouse. Once they got back into his room, Ethan sighs some before trying to tug Kaze back into his bed. A move that he found quite hard since the sleeping cat suddenly went very still again. “Ugh, come on man! Just get back to bed! I gotta get some more practice in before I go to bed myself!”

Pushing at Kaze’s soft belly only really caused Ethan to blush himself since the cat didn’t move. That is until Ethan felt and heard a heavy growl coming from that belly! In a very swift move, Kaze’s hands grabbed ahold of Ethan’s hands and pulled them into his maw! The action being so face that the mouse didn’t realize he was ‘in danger’ until his arms were going down his throat! “W-woah WOAH! Kaze! KAZE WAKE UP! STOP STO-”

Even through the shouting, Kaze continued to slumber as Ethan head is pulled inside his maw. His instincts and hunger driving his body now and making him continue swallowing his companion. The poor mouse cursing his low strength as Kaze seemingly had no effort gulping more and more of him, despite his best efforts to get out of that strong grip! Soon he felt his legs lift off the ground and become inverted! The gulping suddenly becoming much more powerful! He kept trying to shout out for help, but the muscles all around him just kept him from doing too much. Though he soon found himself slipping into that waiting belly! With the strong gulp forcing him down so fast, he almost immediately began to curl up.

In mere moments after it started, Ethan found his feet being pulled inside that hungry maw, and actually heard the chomp of that maw closing up. As they were swallowed down as well, he felt the big cat moving on his own. He could only assume it was to lay back down on his bed since, shortly after he stopped moving, Ethan heard some tell tale light snores from the cat! Growling some, he started pushing around at that belly. Doing anything he could to wake him up! “Kaze come on, wake up! This isn’t funny! KAZEEEEEE!!”
