ORIGINALLY UPLOADED TO DEVIANTART IN 2020 - REUPLOAD FOR FURAFFINITY

This drawing is about 2 years old now and my art style has developed a bit since then, but it is one I'm still very proud of so I decided to share it here. :D

Following my.... interesting experience watching Cats 2019 at the cinema XD , throughout the film, when I wasn't laughing my butt off at how insane the film was, I was thinking about what the film would have been like with actual cats instead of those.... things. :O And so, the film inspired me (I guess? xd ), to try drawing them as actual cats, so here we go. :3

When I bought the MUCH BETTER Cats musical on DVD and had a watch of it, and I have to say that, while still pretty odd, it's a LOT better than the film adaptation, and I decided to combine the original costume designs and the movie designs when coming up with these designs here. :)

I had a lot of fun drawing all of these out - please tell me what you think! :3 (I think my personal favourites are Rum Tum Tugger, Mr Mistoffelees, Jennyanydots, Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, Macavity and Rumpuscat - a character that didn't appear in the film but I think had a cool design in the musical. :D )
