It's true. And that's why, Cottontail Nursery could be a good subject for a Netflix original animated series. (I think the same thing about Found - Retake, Housebroken and Shine.)

I've always thought that comic had real potential to be truly terrifying. The ladder half of the story and some of the darker dream sequences evoke a lot of the same feelings and moods from some of my favorite psychological thrillers. Shutter Island in particular

I like Cleo, just a lot of her seems more nurturing in her caring rather than malicious, I honestly believe that Cleo does what she does because she seems to think its what is best for her charge. Like her and I don't think I'll ever be able to properly put into words why ^_^
Far more restraint from Cleo, than with other people.
Although, those were the more.. unwillig subjects and I guess it's partly Cleo's role (which I think she immensely enjoys).
And Varden, who is quite special.
Speaking of Varden... do we ever learn what he did to be kept like that? I mean Varden seems to enjoy it now. But it's still a mystery and technically he's still an inmate, right?

Saffy, Cleo claimed you the second she first set eyes on you. She will relentlessly continue to try and baby you until it’s out of her system. There’s no getting out of this, so just lie back on the changing pad and think of England. Because you’re just going to have to ride it out.
