Light magic is one of the main components of the universe. It symbolises guidance and awareness. It is worshipped by many people, notably the kyri foxes with their glowing fur. Their fur allows them to wield light magic without a lantern. The amount of glowing fur they have is equal to the amount they can use, and once depleted they must meditate under the sun to regenerate.

Light magic appears naturally in the universe as the sun, providing light and warmth to the planets. It also appears as aether currents; gusts of sunlight that propel and guide ships between planets. Aswell as mists of light that spiral and flow across the surface of planets. Being Inside a spiral allows a Kyri to regain their magic faster. It also allows common sorcerers to cast light spells without depleting their light magic source.

Light magic is stored in a special lantern that can be carried or worn on the waist by someone capable of wielding it. It can also be used in machinery to power solar sails or provide light to a large area. They are recharged by collecting solar energy or harvesting magic glowing flowers

Campfires can be used to communicate from far distances with another light wielder. They can link fires and appear to each other as apparitions.

A light wielder can focus a blast of light that can blind people in that general direction

A lantern can be used to reveal visions of the past that can help guide the user. It can also be used to illuminate the immediate future and cast light onto things that are no longer there or aren’t there yet.
