Goblins actually are immortal in DF. (can still die from violence tho)

Gremlins on the other hand just live a long time, up to 1000 years I think.

Get the axe out. It be choppin' time. Which is the #1 method of saving dwarves who have treed themselves after chasing a squirrel or screaming like a sissy from seeing a fluffy wambler. Usually ends in a bloody mess but who cares.

Tho it gets tedious if you don't have an axe, and have to keep making stone axes every time one of your allies or minions get
stuck up a tree. xP;

Fortress mode has it's charm, but adventure mode is a lot more fun.
