Daschunds are the best dogs in the world, hands down. They're slow to learn, but extremely smart. You can even teach them how to talk! I taught Sammie how to say "I love you!" He's whiny and barks a lot before he says it but he will.

Oh dude my pup isn't a slow learner at all! Im sooo proud of him, he catches on soo fast!

That's great! It's taken an average of 2 years apiece to potty train every Daschie I've had!

were still working on that with him...but everything else he's picking up really fast!

Puppy scent pads are great, place them by the doors that lead outside, if you catch the pup peeing or pooping anywhere quickly pick them up and take them outside to teach them that's where they should be doing it. Praising them for doing it outside is good too. Scolding Dashcies barely works, they're very headstrong and stubborn dogs. Not many people realize they're bred to hunt and kill stuff.

Thats basicly what I do. Most of the time he tells me he needs to go out, we have the pads but. Most of his indoor accadents happen off of them, its not alot, but still lol

Glad to hear the training is going well, the only other piece of advice I can offer is to put him outside after he eats or drinks too.
