Introducing: Mindy the Mindflayer, the Wild Magic Barbarian. They're a bit of a gentle giant, wanting to make friends and be protectively motherly, but often gets attacked by adventurers due to being a monster and well, let's say her inner Hulk comes out if you anger her or hurt those she's befriended lol. When not provoked she tends to be shy and awkward but openly friendly. She's tried to curb her appetite for humans by attempting to absorb knowledge by eating books instead of brains. Hasn't been very successful so far.

Plus maybe the randomness of her magic often causes little accidents to happen and scare people away from not trusting what her magic will do next.....That is if said magic doesn't blow up the nearest tavern or shrink the populace of the town.

She also towers over humans, the average person only reaching about navel height to her.
