wow! i guess my ears were off on that one lol, i can usually tell the difference of drums in a track due to accents of the hits. but i will definatly take a look at your others songs too cause i know that they will be awesome!

That's the one thing people tend to worry too much about when writing music ... simple should not be a factor.

The few factors that honestly matter are if you like it, and if it's fun to play. I prefer simple, good songs myself as they are easier to play and sometimes can be more fun to me than something that's incredibly technical.
