A gift for a good freind JonnyAMax. He's someone who'se supported me a lot (with slaps in the head when I needed them too)

This fell out of my pen a few mornings ago and it's a lesson never to let inspiration lay. I wanted to do a more active pose than my usual work as well as experiment with a few, namely water related, elements.

I was a little more stringant to sticking to my model this time around, acctually going back to my marronette style of skeleton which I think gives a much more natural looking body and bend. Perhaps just a slightly proportion issue with the arms, but it's slight if at all (or I'm not just imagining it). I also solved my problems with eyes in just sticking with a smaller, dot iris and little else. I guess I'm not cut out for larger anime eyes in my style, which I think works just fine.

Truthfully, the angling of the wave was a little throw-away. I perhaps should have had it open up more towards the left side to sell it encompasing Rico as having him inside the wave rather than just racing out of it. A few elements seem rather conflicting as well (I think the shading on Rico is much too smooth compared to the rather simplistic coloring of the background elements). I am a little satisfied with the wake and spray elements although it wasn't quite what I had in mind, but at least it fits with the rest of the background stylistically.
