Indeed, the inner layer is incredibly flexible and cushy, keeping the occupant perfectly safe and secure within its seal. Even if he fusses and struggles, the membrane will simply stretch around him and absorb all of his movements. And due to the air pressure, the inner layer will always bounce back as he struggles.
