oh lol, the face itself, I assumed you meant the stuff that was around it.
No, I drew the girl on a program called OpenCanvas, and then I colored her in with 20 different layers on her hair, 15 on her shirt, and only like 3 on her face itself. (including eyes, lips, nose and makeup in the 3 layers)
