Chapter 21: Cultural Ambassador
Kate poked her head out form behind Nick, “She here yet?”
“She said to wait at the docks I think.” Nick replied, “And why are YOU the nervous one?”
“Ambassador Silves… SILVES…. The silves family is basically royalty and known for being massive fuck-you bruisers who …”
“Hello, You must be Mr, Tiberius” A voice cut, drawing the attention of both Nick and Kate.
“Uh yes.. Hello, Are you Mrs. Silves” Nick said looking over expecting to look up, then realizing he had to look a bit down at the sergal woman. She was definitely the same sergal he had seen on the screen but in real life she was clearly petite, almost surprisingly so. Unlike Kate who was taller than Nick by a fair margin and sported an hourglass figure with an enviable bust, the ambassador was the opposite. She was half a head shorter than Nick, her body was very slender with only subtle curves down her sides and over her rear, and to round it out her bust was B-cup at best. She was clearly an adult and Nick guessed she was a bit older than him and his fiancé, but had a ‘petite and cute’ vibe going on that was fetching in its own way.
Kate blinked almost disbelieving at one of the smallest fully adult sergals she had ever seen while the woman continued as if Kate wasn’t acting odd. “Yes, sir. I am Ambassador Silves, Ambassador Tiberius. Though outside of my title it would be Ms. Silves not Mrs.” She said and then turned to Kate, “And you are the captain of the Sojourner that the Ambassador flew in on, correct?”
‘Uhh… yes.. yes that’s correct.” Kate said.
“Well, Ma’am, my thanks for delivering the first ambassador of a new civilization. I’m sure the explorer’s guild will give you quite the bonus for that one. I’ll be sure to put your name and ship name in the report.”
“Oh well thanks.” Kate said, “That will make things easier.”
“No problem Ma’am, now if I may, I should have a private meeting with Ambassador Tiberius here”
“Uh” Nick said.
“Well” Kate added.
“Something wrong?” The ambassador asked.
“How long will you be with Nick?” Kate inquired.
“Does it matter?” She responded.
“Well you see” Kate said, “I didn’t just FIND a guy and bring him here. Uh, we’re sort of. Well…”
Nick Straightened and tried to sound more professional, “Katherine Amador is my Fiancé Ma’am”
The petite Ambassador’s eyebrows lifted, “Well, I can’t say I saw that coming. Ms. Amador may be operating a bit outside regulations getting… so close with someone who’s country we do not yet have diplomatic relations with.”
“Uh” Kate said.
“I can assure you It won’t be an issue for any official diplomacy.” Nick said again keeping the ‘professional’ mode on, “As we talked about I’m only a temporary Ambassador anyway, right?”
“Fair enough” She said, “Still I’d like to hear how this happened. Oh, and I suppose the hotel suite the state department rented on your behalf might as well be for both of you” She pulled out a key card and handed it to Kate, “I’ll have him back by nightfall, hopefully, so you’ll probably need to find dinner on your own.”
Kate took the card, “Uh thanks Ma’am, and uh, good luck, Nick. You have the com I gave you right so you can call if you need?”
Nick nodded and waved as Ambassador Silves took his hand and started leading him away, “See you Later Kate!”
Kate waved back, “By Nick… ahh frick the Explorer’s guild is going to love THAT point” Kate muttered to herself watching them go.
Ambassador Silves took Nick back to her office in her ship. She had to move around so it just make sense to have her work place be in her own ship. Said ship was a large gold encrusted liner that screamed ‘royalty’ It was a good bit larger than Kate’s ship and clearly cost a LOT more money.
Nick whistled, “Oh wow. This is impressive.”
“Well thank you” She said, “Its about half engine to get around fast, but its got its comforts too, for business or pleasure.”
“Pleasure, Ma’am?”
“Oh?” She said as she led him through the halls to her main office, “Judging from our previous conversation you are already well versed on that particular topic.”
Nick turned red very quickly and he struggled to maintain his composure as he sat down in front of the Ambassador’s desk while she moved behind it. The office was as opulent as the rest of the ship and had framed images of her various degrees and awards as well as a picture of her standing with a pair of much larger sergals. Both of which are hugging her and nuzzling the smaller Ambassador between them. It might have been Nick’s imagination too, but it almost seemed like the male’s hand was on the Ambassador’s rear.
“uh… Nice office” Nick said and nodded at the image, “Friends of yours.”
“Oh thanks, but no. Those are my parents”
“Parents?” Nick looked closer at the image. The sergals in it did have a similar colored coat to the Ambassador herself, so its conceivable that they are related, though they appeared to be a bit closer to their daughter than he would have thought was normal, they almost looked like…
He shook the image from his mind and tried to focus on the present.
“Yes, my father isn’t always sure how I came out so small.” She chuckled, “It makes our reunions a bit, well, ‘tight’ if you catch my drift”
Nick was in fact catching her drift but was also freaking out a bit in the process as well. If she meant what part of Nick thought she might mean, then it meant that the small woman in front of him had been intimate with her own father. He tried not to think about it, not for moral outrage reasons, but because if he popped a boner right now it could be more than a little awkward.
“Uh. Well... I’m sure you and... uh… your father can... uh... make things… fit… Ma’am” Nick stammered.
She smiled and leaned forward from behind her desk, the angle was intentionally provocative, even for someone with a smaller bust like hers, “I’m sure you are skilled in ‘fitting in’ too dear boy. You barely met our race and one already wants to marry you.”
“S-she she she is.. is.. is.. uh .s-something.. s-special.. I-I-I-I-I got lucky.”
“You sure did” she said leaning even farther forward, eyes tracing down, “and so did she from where I’m sitting.”
Nick turned redder and put his hands over his crotch, “Sorry Ma’am. I just.. uh.. you…” He stammered worse and worse, “Shouldn’t we.. you know get back to.. to.. uh… this meeting?”
“Ah yes of course” She smiled, “a new beginning for both our people and all that. A ‘lucky’ day for sure. And hopefully for us as well.” One of her hands played with the buttons of her shirt, “Shall we discuss the terms of our, hmm, diplomatic relations?”
