Salmon Run Revolutions: Lesser Cohock Trenchguard
The Refsheet is complete. Im finally done with his refsheet, took me several months to get it together, but it's finally done. I think i started work on this back in JANUARY, or maybe even DECEMBER!! Good Christ, I gotta be more on-top of my own work! Anyway, here are the rundown on the things you see in the image
Exhibit A: The Gas Mask has a substance in it's filters that gives Cohock Trench Guards a High of sorts, used to keep their minds off the hazardous environments they swim or run in. However, keeping one on too long drives one to insanity and a rage like a Chum to Glowflies.
Exhibit B: Detailing their main weapon, the "Slimelocke Firearms Model 1916 TrenchGuard Splatling", otherwise known as the "Marianas Defense Emplacement Weapon" (MDEW) or more informally as the "Maria Gun". You'll see these things mostly in Pillbox-type defenses around many Salmannican Military bases, most famously those in and around the Marianas Trench whose barrels/cooling jackets are often decorated with the kill tallies of those whom try to attack.
The perfect weapon thats hand-held, hip-firing capable (for the biggest of salmon only) and also mountable emplacement to defend your trenches from incomingImperial Germans Run-Huns wanting to increase their fishing zones by a few meters.
Basically a gun made from the base of a Heavy Splatling, with a Lewis Gun and Hotchkiss M1909 MG somewhere in it. The 100-round Pan mag, it's barrel and the receiver it has is modified to take in human-made-and-disused-and-reproduced NATO 5.56 cartridges worth 200 dollars a round, with it's bullets' tips filled with salmonid slime as it's warhead in a hollow-point fashion for a little more pain and agony within getting shot with the weapon.
The bullet's Cartrdiges are filled with regular gun/black powder, and are launched from the barrel via high-pressurized slime. Which in terms, fires the bullet from the cartridge as it's hammer effectively. The Pan mag spins to mimic the splatling's rotary barrels to chamber rounds into the breech for them to be fired.
And yes, this weapon is a big killer, however it's heavily nerfed as it has to take 12 seconds to make a full charge, but a 12-second firing time is well worth the waiting. Weak-charging the splatling may damage it's condition and may jam the gun. Note the tires on the slime-tank. They are there for a Trenchguard Cohock to grantee them that they die in combat and not in surrender/captivity. If captured, a couple licks of the tires, and they go down for the count. Made this as a reference to an article i saw online one time that intrigued me: https://phys.org/news/2020-12-scien.....ho-salmon.html
Exhibit C: Their Relationship with other Lesser Infantry. Basically, they always put down the little Chums and use them to help ferry munitions and their weapon kits. Otherwise, they sit next to them and play spotter whilst the unlucky Chum or Snatcher is stuck on gunner-duty. To which they are HIGHLY inexperienced in handling the Trenchguard Splatling. It's just too clamn big for them!
Height Comparison: Comparing heights to other Infantry Units, Aurum-san, Inklings/Octolings, and other characters when i come around for em.
Exhibit D: Showing the Run-Huns true fear when a Trenchguard steps from the shores with his terrifying apperance and presence. Stepping on them is just another thing to defame the Run-Huns even more!
Before the Salmannican-Octarian Split: Details the relationshp Cohock Trenchguards had with Octo Commanders back when the Salmannican Empire was allied with the Octarians' Regime. The two's rankings were the best-est of friends between a Salmonid and a Octarian.
