I'm curious, as to your adoptions, this one in particular, if your requirements are set to it staying the same species?
I tend to like to change up the species, depending on my inspiration of the design. ^-^;

Mostly I have some kind of preferance about the species, it depends on how attached I get I think. Mostly it's a "should stay canine" or "pick a species that somewhat fits the lineart", and sometimes it's a bit looser like "has to be a mammal with paw pads".

Someone mentioned that they thought he looked like a hyena, so I don't think I'll demand him to be canine, but a little looser definition.

So I guess it depends on just how much you'd like to change it, I mostly prefere if it stays a simmilar species, but I make exceptions sometimes.

Very good to know, I shall keep this in mind on not just this but any other adoptions you might have.

Due to my fear of your fanacade, I am sad to say I will not be able to give him a home, but I can definitely tell you I can see the interest for him is well deserved. I think he is easily my favorite of your designs in a long time... and I do love your designs. ^^ I have no idea why, he just reminds me so much of a friend of mine. XD In any case, you already know how my part on this piece, but stating how lovely it is once more really never hurt anyone. ^^
