An ugly daughter of a rich farmer, selfish and cruel, one that squandered the gifts she was born with and never could see the value in that which she had that others did not.

Now in her avarice, she wished for beauty. She wished for milk and crops to call her own but cared not for the work that made these things special. It was the work that could have gotten her these things just as easily as wishing on the cottage hermit in the woods.

All the same, Holly granted the wish. It only incurred the debt of the farmer's daughter's soul once these gifts were squandered like the rest. A quick agreement, a signature, and the farmer's daughter emerged from the woods a woman of changed fortune.


She was the fairest in the land...

Her crops sold for a high price...

Her cow birthed a healthy calf...

The good fortune brought prosperity to the farmer's daughter, and she reveled under Holly's spell. As ever, though, all good fortune was taken for granted.

Thus, on the 3rd bottle of spoilt milk...

on the 3rd failed harvest come the equinox...

on the 3rd man to reject her upon seeing the ugly person within...
