I think this page, in particular, signifies some of the moral failings of this comic and reinforces the importance of having an editor and writing ahead with themes and ethics in mind. Jesse is an immoral person who did bad things, yes - but is it because of some mental disorder? Did he have some sort of awful and negligent home life? People aren't just evil for the fun of it, most the time, there's always some cause.
I'm glad some of you enjoy this comic but I'm gonna be really glad when all the pages are uploaded and I can stop thinking about it.

Yeah, truth be told, if I were in Wilson's shoes, Jesse would not be walking or even crawling away from that encounter. Abducting people, brainwashing them, it's inexcusable. He's already shown he can escape from a mental institution. He's too dangerous.
If there's a higher security location, sure. But if he's going to keep escaping and doing his schemes we have a bit of a joker dilemma where you need to wonder how much harm is prevented by stopping him for good vs the good you can do helping rehabilitate him.

Honestly, I applaud you all for making this comic. Like, making a "kink comic" with an actual plot, drama, tension and conflict...as well as the kink stuff. No one else can say for sure if it was successful, that's only something the author can do. But having the guts to do this deserves praise. Personally I've enjoyed this comic a whole lot, some pages literally made me anxious or elated after I read them.
In my opinion
I think those 2 could've be a happy couple with or without some hypno if only they could've agreed on what specific hypno & how much hypno
But as I say that's just my opinion
P.S.
I have been following this comic even though I have faved & commented on only a few

You went down the hole and hit some heavy stuff. I feel this is a case that's best to let fiction be fiction, but I can understand where it sits with you.
Out of respect for the headspace something like this can put someone in, I won't ask about what should be done. I think we're still working on that problem and are yet to find a solution that consistently works.

i wouldent say this is a bad thing you wrote here. at all. from character perspective at least. however, your correct, any number of things could have happend to jesse to cause the direction he chose. and he could do with help. hell, perhaps even a sequal comic that shows the after effects on him whilst still keeping him in character could be effective. a redemptive arc so to speak.
but the victims of his actions are justified to feel the way they do. hell, the way Wilson just lets him go? thats far more lenient then what most peeps would feel if subjected to something like this.
justice is a.... hard concept. we all have our own versions of what is the right course of action for certain crimes. but talking about it isnt something to be put into the back of our minds. its something we should question ourselves over. some of us are far more forgiving then others. jesse chose to do the same thing as he had been doing after manageing to get out of the... asylum? prison? were ever he was. even useing the same tactics from before. he had shown no sign of change. and clearly wanted to keep up his methods.
Moral failings are fine to be written in cos we are all capable of them. its what makes us human. and what makes characters... characters. more could be done with this story in future, tho i am assumeing you just want to bury it. and thats fine. but dont feel bad for writing something like this that made people feel empassioned as they did.

While so far I've really enjoyed the comic, I kind of wonder what function it served to even bring Jesse back at all. I mean, the story was more or less resolved on that point and moved on, but bringing him back just really seemed to raise questions which apparently are not answered, which is not mind you a slight against the work, but perhaps a question only raised if the finale is approaching. Were this an ongoing comic with a continuing plotline his return could simply herald a future arc in which it was either explained or at minimal, Jesse redux. But if the finale is near, I would have held his reappearance back for a sequel, if there was one. Here it just seems to stir things up with little more than the purpose of causing possible reagitation of certain things, but I'm probably reading into it too much.
It's definitely been a good story with a lot of themes that I don't usually see done and a really cute art style. But I as a writer can appreciate the difficulty in managing ongoing stories.
I'm looking forward to the rest regardless.

man this story has been a wild ride for sure.
i wonder what happened in life to cause Jesse to become who they are and why they did what they did.
do you melt Jesse's brain and turn him in to a diaper dependent drooling moron. or do you try to waist your time to change him and have his power used to help people forget problems or past trauma that caused there life's to fall apart. Jesse and what he can do could be used for so much good or evil. pretty interesting person.
this comic also plays in to my fear of meeting people from the internet with Kinks, ive heard some horror stories from a friend of mine 2 of his Ex's are in prison and ill say no more.

I ain't sure if anyone is replying to my comment or (either of) the characters Blake &or Wilson or whoever so this is a follow-up to my comment & is not intended as a reply to anyone in particular
Say that I've a foot fetish that on a 1-10 scale would be a 3 in reality & a 9-9point5 in fantasy (with VR counted a fantasy & cosplay a 60/40 deal)
Then seeing a RL person walking barefoot on a mat of shag rug that's grass colored would add to the my foot fetish in both worlds but seeing that person walk barefoot out in the yard where (I know) the dog goes the bathroom would affect my foot fetish negative (in the fantasy world only days or maybe weeks but in the RL world for months & might even have me seeking out other foot fetish ppl)

i hate to see pple treated this way but he really dose deserve it even if some trauma in his past made him like this.. braking out of the hospital was wrong move on his part. as extensive therapy is the only thing that can help. a caring friend would be good too but forgiveness would have to come before that
Jesse... it's hard for me to feel sympathy for them after all they've done. However, I can't say I've not been in similar shoes - trying desperate, perhaps cruel tactics to stop people I care about leaving me. I realise, of course, it was part of an abusive cycle. There's room and opportunity to grow, but it doesn't outright mean forgiveness just because you grew out of bad habits.
Some times, the earth remains scorched and salted. It's something to take on the chin, and hopefully the start of a better tomorrow - and I can only hope Jesse realises that too.

An amoral character like this, imo, looks like they'd only get a chance to show their faces again after some cataclymic or revolutionary event in these other characters' lives. That's just my experience. It's that "wow, we've all come a long way" feeling inside of that moment when someone who did you wrong long ago crosses paths again. Are they changed? Not always, in my experience. That's a better representation of life, but I don't think it's incomprehensible to give this dude a lot of space and time for a redemption arc. Maybe he'll figure that out and that will be the thing that actually influences their world-view. Uh, just ruminating, don't @ me please <.<
Sounds like you all started out with one intention and then realized you couldn't sustain it. Did the comic become a burden by the end? Did peopels intense investment (that even had to be called out at one point) make it worse?
Honestly, I'd love to see someone interview you all about your comics. Like, down to earth creative talk. Because yes a lot of kink work is in this gallery but it's obvious you have a LOT of imagination and a LOT of ideas. And I really really would love to one day see more of what makes it all tick, personally.
