Aww, who's baby, son, daughter or new sibling?

Are these dragons born or hatched? I always liked the concept of changing certain heat levels or environment around a dragon egg gives it certain aspects or abilities, it even determines gender. If they are born instead of hatched, I imagine similar could be done around her belly.
Also if they are egg layers, they would have a strong nest building instinct. Maybe buying expensive cloth and decor!

I especially like the idea of them designing nests out of modern cloth, maybe they invented a special kind of furniture specifically for nesting purposes
