After years of channeling his demonic half, Victor is finally able to unleash it. He may not be as strong as his great-grandfather Stolas, but his power is growing as he ages.
A brief explanation as to what you see here:
Stolas enters our plane of existence by basically possessing someone, then having them regurgitate/birth him in a mass of black feathers, tar, and blood. Truly terrifying. Victor can only do this by being near any reflective surface. The reflection vibrates at such high frequencies that the material showing the reflection shatters into shards, could be steel, glass, anything. Those shards then zip towards Victor and clad him like a suit of armour. If you look closely you can see blood seeping through some of the cracks and gaps. That is actually Victor bleeding slightly inside the suit as the shards occasionally nick his flesh.
