Marcello and Francis as kids playing some Indy500 on the Atari before bed. Dad's already out. This would be somewhere in the 1981-82 time frame. In the cannon of the comic, Marcello was raised as part of Francis' family after being fostered for a bit. The parents don't have names yet.

I never played Pole Position on Atari. Just arcade a couple times. Very poorly. A friend had Indy 500 and kicked my butt at it. We had Slot Racers, which was barely a racing game, and Night Driver, which I convinced my second grade teacher would help learn actual driving skills.
