This is the book cover for the novella I've been brainstorming and frameworking out for a while now.
The book focuses on Krowfeather, a chakat who is in the process of retiring from over 40 years of Star Fleet service, as shi returns to Chakona to settle down in hir childhood hometown, rebuild hir ancestral clan's house, and adapt to to the unstructured life of a civilian.
