This is my first attempt to draw Subaru after he had been running around in my head for so long. I originally saw him having edgy white stripes along his mane like Hiei from "Yu Yu Hakusho," but it was dropped in his final design. Subaru also had a scar like... well, Scar from the Lion King, but it felt too cliche and I thought it also stole from the unique villainous appearance Scar had already made, so I removed it.
