“Even still, I’m not entire happy about being forced to fight like that. And if I had gotten knocked out, then we wouldn’t have been able to do everything we wanted to do tonight and he most definitely would refuse to give us the option if I lost a fight.”

“You worry too much. Besides, he had a revive and a super potion hidden away in your harness. You would have been fine. Though tell me you didn’t enjoy the fight.”

I refuse to answer and instead watch the kid undergoing his transformation. He’s clearly trying to stop the transformation though it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. He even goes about grabbing at his shirt and starts tearing it off his body.

“Why would you rip your shirt off? I mean, he’s getting smaller, not larger. There should be absolutely no reason for that kind of behavior.”

“You weren’t tempted to do a little wardrobe destruction your first change?”

“No. We were concerned about getting away as fast as possible. At his stage the human’s still mostly in control and when I was changing, he was far more concerned about maintaining some dignity when our pants got too small. Heck, we ended up wearing the exact same clothing the next day, all still in good condition.”
