If there´s any category of fantasy humanoid I really like it would be trolls/ogres, since they come with a truly staggering diversity in old mythology and new media. So I have gone a little bit troll crazy in 2017, designing my own creative variants including anatomical sketches (Isn´t it fun to see how much a little bit imagination can be tweak the simple human/primate body into such alien and/or absurd forms?). The Troll Summary starts from top left to bottom right:

This Polypede Crystal Troll is not a creation of my own, a friend of mine came up with it when I asked her how weird she could make her troll. What we got was a strange creature with multiple feet (which I imagine it uses to push itself into rolling through subterranean tunnels) and a clear transparent skin coated with crystals.

Being Inspired by "The Troll Hunter", I too wanted to play with the idea of a troll that (appears) to have more than one head. The result is what I call in Swedish language Fejs-Haka, translated as Face-Chin, due to it´s elaborate throat sack/dewlap which it can inflate to make it´s fake "head" look even more intimidating.

This guy which looks like the bastard son of a monkey and Voldemort is my interpretation of a Fuath, a dangerous water spirit from Celtic mythology.

An Ogre that wallows in rainforests like some elephant-sized pig.
