I started making music because I wanted to create the same imagination inspiring moments for others that I got from listening to great composers and songwriters. Lately, I've been using music creation as a means of supercharging the muse, creating soundtracks to spur my writing pursuits and fit alongside the stories I want to tell. It's working pretty well and I'm having a lot of fun.

It's interesting that you mention shouting out our frustrations because I write as an outlet. My way of screaming out into the void so to speak. I grew up in a very...stifled household so getting out there and being able to express my anger in such a visceral way was almost addicting. Over time that just kind of became my way of expressing my emotions(especially my negative ones). I've learned more effective ways through therapy and life experience but I still find myself picking up a guitar and chugging out my more minor issues that bug me.
