So here we have Valentine, the slightly younger sister of Abigail. A college student specializing in, but not particularly good at, alchemy, she was mixing what was supposed to be an invisibility potion when a sudden shake led to her mispronouncing the accompanying spell. The potion exploded, “vanishing” her body below her already detachable head, and the vial, to nothingness. (Not quite what happened but that’s a story for another time.)
As a result of the explosion, she was left as a helpless bodiless head, much to her friend Gwen’s surprise. But the only thing immediately on her mind, was how she was going to pass her final exams the next day.
